How to Organize IPTV Channels and Favorites

Build a Favorites row you actually use

Favorites are the single biggest time-saver, so set them first. 1) Browse to a channel or title you watch regularly. 2) Select the star or favourite icon to add it. 3) Repeat for your core list: the news, sport, and entertainment channels you return to most, plus a handful of go-to movies or series. 4) Open the Favorites row from the home screen to check the order and make sure nothing is missing. 5) Keep the list tight, because a Favorites row of ten to twenty channels is far more useful than one with a hundred.

Group channels into categories

Categories turn a wall of channels into something you can navigate. 1) Let Lit IPTV read the group names that come inside your playlist, since most providers already tag channels by country or genre. 2) Browse by these groups (for example Sports, Kids, or a specific country) instead of scrolling one long list. 3) Use search whenever you know the channel name, which is faster than any menu. 4) Keep Live TV, Movies, and Series separate, which Lit IPTV already does, so each area stays focused. 5) If your provider's group names are messy, lean on Favorites and search as your main routes rather than fighting the source labels.

Hide the channels and groups you never watch

Sort and use the EPG guide

The EPG guide is where organisation really pays off for live TV. 1) Open the Live TV guide to see a grid of what is on now and next. 2) Filter the guide down to your Favorites so you scan ten channels instead of a thousand. 3) Use the guide to jump straight into a programme already in progress. 4) Check that your provider supplies EPG data, because the guide is only as complete as the information in your playlist. 5) Where your provider supports it, set a recording from the guide so you never miss a fixture.

Lock down kids' and adult content

Organising is also about controlling what appears. 1) Open the parental controls in Settings. 2) Set a PIN so the controls cannot be changed casually. 3) Restrict or hide adult categories so they do not show up while browsing. 4) Build a separate Favorites row of kids' channels and titles for a simple, safe view. 5) Test the setup by using the app as you normally would, confirming the blocked content stays hidden.

Keep your setup in sync across devices
