Data Deletion
Learn how to delete your data from Lit IPTV.
Delete your account and cloud data
The fastest way to delete all your cloud data is to delete your Lit IPTV account. This permanently removes your Firebase authentication account and all associated data from our servers, including:
- Login credentials and authentication data
- Synced IPTV credentials and server information
- Watch history and favourites
- User profiles
- Subscription records
You can delete your account from within the app (Settings → Delete Account) or from our website:
Local app data
Playlists, EPG data, recordings, favourites, and app settings are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers. To remove this data, simply uninstall the Lit IPTV app from your device.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel active App Store or Google Play subscriptions. You must cancel these separately:
- iPhone / iPad: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Lit IPTV
- Android / Firestick: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Lit IPTV
Manual deletion request
If you are unable to delete your account through the app or website, or if you have any questions about your data, you can request manual deletion by contacting us:
Please include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
Anonymized data
Aggregated analytics and crash reports that have been fully anonymized and cannot be tied back to your identity are retained for product improvement purposes. This data cannot be deleted as it is no longer associated with any individual user.
